Joanne's Stampin Up Workshop
Joanne held her Stampin Up! workshop on Sunday November 16, 2008, at her house from 1-4pm. It was good! Here are the projects we made:
This project is a scrapbooking page that I tried to make to look kind of Christmassy (cherries, Real Red, Old Olive). I also used the stamping with markers technique to do the cherries, using Real Red and Old Olive markers to color in the appropriate parts of the cherry stamp and then 'huffing' on it. Also, although it looks like a lot of card is used it actually isn't, as the card that can't be seen is cut away, leaving only the card that can be seen - so no wastage!
I haven't got any photos to put on it yet but I'm hoping for some from the folks in Aussie of the kids under the Christmas tree!
The other projects were two cards: one was a spinner card and the other was a pop-up card Christmas I haven't got photos of the spinner card yet, but here is the pop-up card. It is using the 'Season of Joy' set from the Spring Mini Catalogue, and the colors are Bashful Blue, Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi. I also put heaps of glitter in it! This is the card and the matching envelope... And this is the inside with the pop-up section:
Just gorgeous!
