Kristina Werner Colour Challenge #40

.
Wow, this is my first Kristina Werner Colour Inspiration Challenge and it wasn't an easy one, considering the only ink in this colour I own is Old Olive!! I came up with this card by spreading the cardstock out on the table and looking at the colour combinations. Then it hit me - Wanted! I love this set, even though there's no wild west or cowboys in my neck of the woods. It's so versatile - I have used it on scrapbooking pages, altered containers and now on a card (duh!!).

So here it is:

I used Dimensionals under both the scallop circle and 3/4" circle to give the embellishments a bit of a lift, as well as some of those funky brads from the silver Hodgepodge set:

Here is the recipe:
Stamp sets: Wanted and Short & Sweet
Ink: Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise (lighter version of Taken With Teal, which I don't have yet...)
Cardstock: So Saffron, Old Olive, More Mustard, Whisper White
Accessories: Silver Hodgepodge brads and frame, paper piercing mat and tool, Dimensionals, scallop circle punch, 3/4" circle punch

Right I'm off to the beach now. Hope you all had a great Waitangi weekend (NZers) or just a great weekend (rest of the world)!

Awesome, Ria! I like your creative pathway - I too spread paper all over, except mine is usually all over the floor.
